Why weren't doctrines like the Immaculate Conception included in Scripture?

Hello admin, my name is Francis Udoh and I’m glad to be a member of this wonderful forum. I commend you all for your wonder full works in this forum and I ask God to continue to grant you all the wisdom and grace to continue. My question is this: Why is it that as sensitive as the doctrine of immaculate conception is, which has so much generated lots of arguments from separated brethren and even some catholics not documented in the scripture is the written tradition?
