Why would God try to save us, right after God created our spirits on the earth?

We bear the consequences of the choice of Adam and Eve. God created them without sin. They chose to sin, and all of their progeny have been stained by that sin. In Christ, we are freed from the consequence of that sin, and are set free to live in harmony with Him for eternity.
