This is base of the thread, why would Catholics become Orthodox? I’m sure there are Ex-Protestants who are now Orthodox.

I am sure a number of us have really considered it. Orthodoxy has the strengths of Catholicism without some of the things that really cause a problem, like the Papacy.

There were some point in my time in this forum, where I consider EO over Catholicism. But I find out that they aren’t united as they claim to me, especially in the teachings on morality concerning contraception. Their views are vary from Bishop to Bishop…

I guess they might do it because they didn’t study Catholicism enough.

They probably get tired of the inch deep/mile wide nature of most Evangelical ecclesiology and theology but retain a good deal of anti-Roman prejudice having to do with papalism, etc.
They really should consider Lutheranism, the Anglican communion being the mess it is.
