Why?

Here seem to be a lot of questions about masturbation, and why not. It is a very sensitive question, but why have I the feeling that is not OK when a boy/man do it, but nobody seem to ask about girls/women who also masturbate, in fact, I saw some study about it and it did show that it is more common that girls do so, and they start much earlier then boys. So, my question is why?

Masturbation is wrong for boys as well as for girls. Perhaps women are more shy in talking about their purity struggles and that’s why you don’t receive much feedback from their part on this matter.
