If I might offer an observation…

At least for me, Emad was very direct in his replies. Some of the questions here strike me as harrassment of the fellow. I know you think that the Muslim definition of “innocent” is different than ours. But for now, take his answers at face value. The fact that many condemnations have been issued is a huge, huge improvement. Rejoice in that and build on it.

Jim
Sir Tony Sir,
We have long been condemning this. Fortunately, it has only been lately that senseble people like your self has seen this. Also, fortunately for them, they have scrutinized Islam and have become a Muslim submitting their whole self to their creator alone, making Islam the fastest growing religion in the world over 20 years.

Hi Emad,

Can you tell me what is meant by this statement from your post?

“As Muslims we condemn the killing of innocent people for any reason.”

What does “innocent” mean?

Shouldn’t it be “anyone”?
why? Do you really condem the killing of anyone? Death row inmates, people trying to kill you, people trying to kill children or others, Would you condem the killing of the terrorists on 9/11?

From what I have read, Sikhs and Hindus are in spots #1 and #2 with Islam coming in a distant #3 in the U.S.:

So, according to your way of thinking, that must make the Sikh faith and Hinduism even more true than Islam. That was your point in selling Islam as the “fastest growing”, right? That somehow the rate of conversion makes a faith true?

But then we always have the “fallacy of the fastest-growing” which puts these numbers into perspective:

A little fact-checking illustrates that Islam is not, in fact, the fastest-growing religion in the world, not even on one of six continents is Islam the fastest- growing religion.

Sure I would be more than happy to explain it to you. Not everyone is innocent. For example if they catch the person who was behind the bombing, killing him (through a government) isn’t killing someone innocent. Civilians are innocent in Islam.
Hi Emad. 👋 Note: Emad loves his faith and if we are here asking for a Muslim to condem those who kill innocents and Emad does shouldn’t we give him the benefit of the doubt and be Charitable?

God bless,
Jonfan

I am willing to believe he does not believe in murdering innocent people. But I will believe Islam respects human life and the rights of others when:
  1. A Christian church is allowed in Mecca, and Christians and Jews can seek converts there.
  2. Five years go by without a single Israeli child being murdered by Muslims.
  3. Hezbollah and its like no longer hide weapons among unwilling populations, thus inviting civilian casualties.
  4. A Muslim can convert to another religion in a Muslim land and not be killed for doing it.
  5. Ten years pass without another 911; without car burnings in France; without train bombs in Spain; without Islamic clerics calling for the death of the Pope and without subway bombs in England.
  6. 90% of Islamic clerics declare that dhimmitude is a perversion of Islam and demand that it end immediately.
  7. Muslims no longer demand that Sharia be the law of any country.
Until then, I will stipulate that Emad represents Islam as he believes it to be, and wants it to be, but I will not agree that it’s the way Islam actually is.

I would like to see that as well. Maybe Emad could be one to fight for this change.

Does the Vatican allow Muslims on its grounds to set up stands and hand out fliers urging people to convert to Islam? Would it be willing to sell space to Muslims in order to construct a mosque there?

Um. Yes Muslims are allowed at the Vatican.
Does the fact that some Jews have murdered Palestinians mean that Judaism is evil?

The problem here Pro is I don’t see too many Jewish terror groups. I could be wrong though and if so show me them.

On what basis do you conclude that the population of Lebanon doesn’t want Hizbullah?

Pro are you saying the majority of lebanon supports Hezboallah? If so can you show us the stats?

Not really an issue. There are so few people leaving Islam that the only cases you see are one in a billion.

I have seen a few Muslims leave Islam in the last few months on other Islamic forums. I would say that is more than one in a billion. Could you show this fact that only one in a billion are leaving Islam from a “reliable source”.

How many decades have passed without US support for dictatorships in the Muslim world?

Why do you always bring the US into topics when people ask you a question? Different times call for different measures. Unfortuantely governments sleep with strange bedfellows for the overall good. Nobody is perfect. But back on topic.

You do not understand the dhima system. “Dhimmitude” is a word invented by Bat Ye’or, an anti-Muslim polemicist.

A dhimmi (also zimmi, Arabic: ذمي‎, collectively: اهل الذمۃ, ahl al-dhimma, the people of the dhimma or pact of protection) was a non-slave, non-Muslim subject of a state governed in accordance with sharia — Islamic law. A dhimmi is a person of the dhimma, a term which refers in Islamic law to a pact contracted between non-Muslims and authorities from their Muslim government. This status was originally only made available to non-Muslims who were People of the Book (i.e. Jews and Christians), but was later extended to include Zoroastrians, Mandeans, and, in some areas, Hindus[1] and Buddhists. [2] [3] The status of dhimmi applied to millions of people living from the Atlantic Ocean to India from the 7th century until modern times.[4] Over time, many dhimmis converted to Islam. Most conversions were voluntary and happened for a number of different reasons. However, forced conversion did play a key role in some later periods of Islamic history, mostly in the 12th century under the Almohad dynasty of North Africa and al-Andalus as well as in Persia where Shi’a Islam is dominant.[5]
Dhimmis were allowed to “practice their religion, subject to certain conditions, and to enjoy a measure of communal autonomy” and guaranteed their personal safety and security of property, in return for paying tribute to Muslims and acknowledging Muslim supremacy.[6] Taxation from the perspective of Dhimmis who came under the Muslim rule, Cahen states, was “a concrete continuation of the taxes paid to earlier regimes” and from the point of view of the Muslim conqueror was a material proof of Dhimmi’s subjection.

Do you think Christians must stop demanding recognizing God’s law too? If they don’t, will you call Christianity violent?

**The Abrahamic law of God which Islam does lay claim too; also includes free choice which would include practice of different religions. Although that is distinct from God’s will. **

Does whyislam also condemn hezbullah and hamas? If not then they are terrorist sympathizers. Just another wahabi front group in my opinion.

And pro, Muslims do leave, but they must be quiet. They KILL those who join another religion. That’s a good reason for a Muslim to stay. You left us, but we didn’t kill you.

This is truly comical! I have Pro_Jihad blocked because he is just an Islamic propagandist who pretends sometimes to be Catholic, and generally doesn’t tell the truth. He’s more or less a Jack Chick of Islam, and a mouthpiece for whatever madrassa delegated him to come and try to destroy your faith. However, I can see on Jonfan’s post that Pro_Jihad jumped in here. Interesting, isn’t it, that the fellow calling himself Emad, who was all sweetness and light, bowed out and in jumped the sword-swinging Jihadi. That might give you some insight into Islamics who talk peace and conciliation.

I think everyone here needs to realize that all they’re doing, perhaps all the time when addressing some Moslem on here, is talking to some Islamic propaganda center, no matter what names they use from time to time. Might as well dialogue with Kim Jong-Il. As I have said before when Pro_Al Qaeda comes in here, all need to recognize that if you lived in a country controlled by Pro_911’s co-religionists, and said the kinds of things you say on here, you and your family would already be murdered. Think about it. Better to block him and the rest of them. If enough people do that, they’ll eventually be given another assignment.

Selveraj these verses are speaking about hypocrites who left the Muslim army in times of war. It is not permissible for them to be sitting home while the Muslims are in danger. Any soldier who deserts his army has a very sever punishment in every country, including the United states. Please stop taking verses out of context.
The sight of a non-Muslim telling a Muslim how to interpret his own Scriptures would be hilarious if it weren’t so tragic.

I don’t put up with this from non-Christians–why should Muslims have to put up with it from us?

Edwin

Your characterization of pro_universal is utterly without basis that I am aware of. As far as I know, it’s fabrication from beginning to end.
