Wiccan

I used to be Catholic. But for the last two years I’ve been Wiccan. Now I’m thinking of coming back. But I’m hesitant and unsure of how to come home. Am I making the right decision to return? Will I regret it later and run back to Wicca? I’m scared because there’s so much that seems good about Wicca, so much I still loved about it, but I can’t deny a strange pull back towards Christianity…what do I do?

Truth is Truth. Whatever Truth you found in Wicca will still be Truth in Catholicism, and vice versa. If something is really Good and True, it transcends the boundaries of religion.

There are lots of interesting facets about studying other religions. Wiccan from what I understand has some focus on nature, the feminine aspects of God, and so forth. Lots of people most closely feel God when they interact with his creation.
I suspect that part of what is drawing you back are some of the large questions that Christianity can answer. We do believe that God uniquely interacted with humanity in Jesus Christ. We make a lot of bold claims. Take some time and look around and see if their were any misconceptions about your Catholicism that can be cleared up.
Now is a good time to visit church again, especially this week. Peace on Earth and goodwill to man.

I do not see it a coincidence that you have found this site, nor that you are feeling a pull back towards the Church.

Perhaps it would be easier if you identified which areas of Wiccan that you find it hard to let go of? I do not know much about wiccan so I need all the clarification you are willing to offer.

I echo BrianH’s suggestion of visiting a Church and I would add talk to a Priest while you are at it. You say you were once Catholic, do you have Catholic family members who are grounded in the faith that you would feel comfortable talking to about this. Just other options for you.
