I bet there’s much more to this story than just wife happened to accidentally lock herself in the cop car without her phone and not be found for hours.

Edited to add, Daily Mail quotes a police source as saying wife had a “history of medical problems” that could have contributed to her death.

I thought about that, It being used as an Instrument of Murder.
Motive? Stop the increasing debt due to “history of medical problems”.
Money is a powerful motivator when one is desperate and drowning in financial debt.

I’m also not sure what wife would have gone looking for in the back seat of a cop car while her husband was asleep.

Even if hubs might have dropped or left something in the car, like a phone charger or a debit card or some other lady’s phone number, cops don’t sit or drop things in the back part of the car where they put the perps. And there’s nothing loose in the back of the car. I also doubt he was driving his family around in that car with them sitting in the caged part, so it’s not like wife or son dropped their personal item back there.

Yes I am leaning toward that suspicion.
It’s too convoluted to me, to put someone in the back of a cruiser and depend on heat exposure.

The person can still catch the ear of a passerby or in desperation kick the window out. I’m sure a cop could think up more reliable methods.

As to why she was there, maybe the SUV was used to haul groceries, etc. A number of reasons something of interest might be in the back seat.

Children have died in cars on 70 degree days.

Report said area was not very well traveled.
or in desperation kick the window out.
If it was that easy, then perps could do it too. Most door windows are caged as well. Rear window is way to hard to kick out.
I’m sure a cop could think up more reliable methods.
Which is why I don’t trust a cop as far as I could throw one.

Anything other then police work? The cop should be fired. My tax money being used for a grocery haul, etc.

True, but unlikely as stated previously by another poster. Protocol is to keep the perp area clear at all times.

Never said it was healthy, just that it wasn’t a reliable method of murder. Tens of thousands more children have been left in cars on hot days and haven’t died.

You are projecting again. We don’t know what’s in his terms of service. Some emergency responders are allowed to used their work vehicles for personal trips. It’s a perk and it enables them to respond quicker in an offduty emergency.

Also why do liberals want to fire everyone, for practically any level of infraction??
So vindictive,

I’ve read that before.

Police Unions are part of the Police Coverup problems.

I once was an IBEW and hate Union Busters, but some unions need to be Busted.

Probably because Conservatives approve of the infractions and give them a pass.

Do you suspect foul play?
Yes I am leaning toward that suspicion.
Or perhaps he locked her in there as a punishment for something and then fell asleep and forgot about her. There are husbands who act like that unfortunately.

That sort of plan reminds me of Kramer trying to get revenge on a clothier by removing the desiccants from the clothing.

I can’t think of how horrific her last hours and moments in the back of this car. I will not place judgement on whether it is a accident or murder. Either way it must have been terrifying.

Requiem aeternam dona ei, Domine,
Et lux perpetua luceat ei.
Sit illa in pace.
Amen.

Why do you fire someone if they are not breaking any rule? You act like this is some sort of embezzlement, or misuse of government property. Some agencies allow use of patrol cars as a way to save tax payers money, as such incentives will take the place of salary increases. In any case, the inclusion of such perks in a salary package is no more dishonest than an employer matching a 401K.
