My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer in March. Her treatment is chemotherapy until the mass shrinks substantially, and then surgery to remove what is left. Initially we were told the chemo would last for about 8 weeks which we are past now; on Monday we learned there will be an estimated 12 more weeks of chemo. She’s in so much pain, her bones ache, she’s constantly nauseous, she’s lost her hair, she has insomnia. Please pray for her. Her name is April.

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
 
Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless, and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,
look kindly upon us, and increase your mercy in us,
that in difficult moments, we might not despair nor become despondent,
but with great confidence, submit ourselves to your holy will,
which is love and Mercy itself.

Dear Lord, be her protector and defender in this time of trouble. Surround her with the Holy Angels, so that she may emerge from every danger in the fullness of health and well being. Guide her life journey, so she will always walk close to You, in Your protection and friendship.

May our Heavenly Father heal your wife and all those suffering from cancer. I pray that God destroys every last cancer cell in their bodies and restores them to full health.
