The wife of faith healer and televangelist Benny Hinn has filed for divorce in Orange County Superior Court.
Suzanne Hinn filed her divorce papers Feb. 1, according to the court website. Her attorney, Sorrell Trope, could not be reached for comment Thursday afternoon.
The couple married in 1979 and have three daughters and a son, according to a biography on posted on the website for Benny Hinn Ministries.
The silver-haired Hinn is one of the world’s most financially successful faith healers.

What is the difference between Benny Hinn and Benny Hill?
One is an insanely silly and over-the-top entertainer and the other was a British television star. 😃

Now if she can get read of his minstries the world will be a better place.Benny Hinn may be the best con man in the world with Leroy Jenkins and Don Stewart,O any Mike Murdick
Oh, he’s up there with the best con man/snake oil salesman out there. Paul Crouch and his Little Bo Peep of a wife (who makes Tammy Fae look like a Quaker) have built a scam empire out of TBN. Hinn was their shining ‘star’.
Guess they’ll have to find another silver-haired preacher in a Frank Nitti suit.

At first glance I thought it said, “Benny Hill files for divorce” 😃 I miss good ole Benny! As for Benny Hinn, puke!

The funniest Benny Hinn story I have is this one:

Benny Hinn’s Church was located in Orlando. It was growing at a pretty rapid pace but they were land-locked. Next door to it was my church and we had land to spare. One day a group of 12 men were seen walking around our land. Our pastor finally went out and asked them, “What are you doing?” They responded, “We are praying that God will deliver this land to us.” After they left, our pastor walked around the land praying to God that He wouldn’t.

Benny Hinn moved to Dallas.

That is hilarious. What church do you belong to, Xavier?

Benny Hinn’s wife was the one who became infamous for saying (*crosses himself three times Oye…*) that if the audience didn’t feel uplifted then they “needed a holy ghost enema right up their rear end.” While I don’t wish divorce on any couple and especially any family (I feel sorry for their kids), I guess this goes to further show how corrupt and false that group of TBN preachers is.

Hey, good for your pastor and church. Guess it shows whose side God is really on. 😃

A broken marriage is nothing to laugh about:(
Annie
I agree Annie, but I have read the preceding posts three times. I fail to see where anyone is laughing at a broken marriage.

Can you point out the offending posts, please?

I guess the posts that are offering up humor about Benny Hinn are what I am referring to. The original post WAS about a broken marriage, not about Benny Hinn himself. I think that no matter what we may think about a person, when we hear that their marriage has fallen apart our first reaction should be to pray - not to laugh.

I’ll pray for the poor fools who give thier last dollars thinking money is going to magically appear in thier bank accounts. Many of them live on what this ‘reverend’ pays for one meal. I’ll pray for the poor souls with health problems who go to his ‘healing’ crusades and are turned away while actors feign ‘healing’ up on stage. I’ll pray for thier children, who apparently have a warped concept of christianity.
I’ll pray he becomes a genunine christian, Protestant or Catholic.
As for his wife, this might be the most spiritually healthy thing she’s ever done.
Is that serious enough for you?
BTW, I have been married to a beautiful Lebanese-American woman for twenty three years. And it is not without notice this guy is from Lebanon. My wife says her father (who spoke very broken english) had a word for people like Benny Hinn, a word that is still used today in that part of the world both Muslim and Christian: camel trader.
It means a con artist.

Proof that God does indeed have a sense of humor.

Oh - does that mean sinners do not need our prayers?? For heaven’s sake - I never said I agreed with anything about Benny Hinn or his wife. I just find it incredibly sad that most of the “christians” who have posted in this thread seem more interested in making jokes than praying. Do we stop praying for those in need just because we don’t like them? Maybe if more people prayed for this man and his family to “see the light of truth” then maybe he would change his ways. If you do not believe that is possible, then you must not believe that God is able:(

Re-read the post. I said

I recall Jesus saying something about hurting the ‘little ones’.
I have no, repeat, NO sympathy for people who take advantage of the poor, the elderly, and the infirmed.

One need not be sympathetic to pray for another person. And I also am outraged at Benny Hinn’s behavior.😦 I never indicated otherwise, I just chose to respond to the original subject - not Benny Hinn himself.

Both are in my prayers. Though I must admit, something about him always seemed off.

Sad situation but the financial disclosures in court may prove to be interesting.

I bet ole Mrs. Hinn is going to take Mr. White Suit to the cleaners!
