Wife wants a child husband doesn't

Yesterday while ringing a register at work I had a customer that among other things was buying a cute bracelette. I asked if she had seen more back in that department and told I had an 11 year old that would probably like it. She acted surprised and said you don’t look old enough to have an 11 year old. My turn to be surprised and I thanked her graciously and said “Wow, I don’t hear that very often anymore.”😛

We talked some more and she went on to say she was buying the bacelette for her neice. Then she said she wanted a child so badly but she couldn’t convince her husband. She continued, saying she was nearly 40 so there wasn’t much time.

All I managed to say about it was, “ohh” in a really sad tone. I couldn’t think of anything to say that didn’t sound offensive or attacking her husband. And being that I was working I really have to becareful.

She was such a sweet, not to mention beautiful lady -I felt so sad for her. In my mind I was thinking “Why on earth would you marry someone that didn’t want children if you really wanted them.”

I don’t even know her name but God does I’m sure, so if you could pray that her husband has a change of heart that would be great. I wished I would have thought to said I will pray for your husband but it seems these things always come to mind afterward.
 
You are doing the right thing. I have one child I am 42 and badly want another but my husband is not so inclined. I have been praying for him also.

So let’s pray,

Our Lady of Guadalupe,

You know this woman’s heart and her desire. We ask that you intercede for her to your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ. That she be brought a child and the love like no other. We ask you to assist in the softening of the heart of her husband and all men who resist yielding to God’s will for their lives. We also ask that you continue to heal those who have terminated life and bring them to your Son. We ask but one drop of Jesus’ blood be given for those people connected with anti-life activities. Save us Mary by your prayers, heal us through your prayers, bring us all to salvation through Jesus Christ.

Amen.
 
I will pray.

My neighbor and friend had the same thing happen to her, she never had a child and divorced him later in life, so sad…she mentions not having children to me all the time, so I understand the heartache.

There’s a gorgeous, Christian lady at my work who as two children. Her hubby got a vas when he was supposedly on a “business trip.”

She has wanted children very badly. He refuses to adopt, too.

And to the poster that asked why a lady would marry such a man…they aren’t always honest…this coworker was given the impression that he wanted to have lots of kids, too.
 
Gracious and loving Lord, Father of all goodness, open her husband’s heart to Your precious gift of life. May he suddenly be surrounded by children whom You send so that he will delight in their company. May their innocence and infectious smiles soften his heart. May he then reflect on the passage of time and the lonliness of a home devoid of your gift of life. May he ponder the desire of his own parents to share their love with grandchildren, so that he will honor his father and mother, according to Your Divine command. We ask this through Christ, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen.
 
Praying for her, her husband and all couples in a similar situation.
 
I will remember this woman and her husband (and for all those in similar situations) at daily Mass and in my prayers. Thank you for requesting this prayer intention.

LORD HEAR THIS PRAYER ! Rayne’s friend needs you . She wants a baby in her life to have as her own . Lord bless her with this gift . Lord I ask that you bless her with a second gift , that her husband through your grace and mercy wants a child also ! LORD change his heart and mind . LORD BLESS THIS FAMILY WITH A LOVING HARMONY AND A NEW MEMBER ADDED ON TO THEIR FAMILY ! PRAISE BE TO YOU ALMIGHTY FATHER ! THANK YOU , IN THE NAME OF JESUS , AMEN . Thank you all for the prayers! It’s pretty cool that this woman has all these people praying for and she doesn’t even know it.
