OK, so it is ~3 months since this thread fizzled out. How many here are still using their Wii Fit?
I was able (finally!) to get a Wii console about 2 months ago. I’ve been using the Wii Sport and Wii play several times a week. I was not able to find a Wii Fit until today.
I started using it, and it really does give quite a workout!
I did some simple stretching and then tried the hula hoop and the basic step.
Oh my lord, was I winded! I could really feel it in my left ankle and achilles tendon, too. I’ve injured that joint multiple times, and I could feel where the largest areas of scar tissue are after working out.
I am definitely going to try to figure out how to incorporate this into my regular routine. I ride my racing trike whenever it is not raining or too windy. So I’m thinking I will use the Wii Fit or Wii Sport on the days I cannot ride.
