or is he doomed before he is born?
All that the term anti-christ means is a person that denies that Jesus is the anointed one.The things you hear about one dude being the Anti-Christ is all just plain old fiction.or is he doomed before he is born?
The AC will appear to be the answer to all the worlds problems when he arrives, people will love him and think he is nothing but good, those who do dare to speculate he may be something else, are going to be demonized and scorned, they will definitely be the minority. With the term “anti” usually meaning opposite, I’d say the antichrist would probably be the total opposite of Jesus. Instead of leading people to God, the antichrist will probably lead people away from God and into sin. Perhaps instead of being a person per-se, maybe the antichrist will be an idea. If so, then it seems to me that the antichrist is already here and doing some serious damage to western society. People enmasse turning away from God, sexual promiscuity, and perversion to pretty much all things seem to be just some effects of the antichrist in our day. Perhaps the antichrist’s influence on the world will only get worse until the climax when Jesus returns.
A scary time to be living in.The AC will appear to be the answer to all the worlds problems when he arrives, people will love him and think he is nothing but good, those who do dare to speculate he may be something else, are going to be demonized and scorned, they will definitely be the minority.
And when he starts performing supernatural feats in front of crowds, like calling fire down from heaven on command, people will really fall in love with him, they will literally believe he is Jesus returned.
Its said the AC will be groomed by satan himself thru out his life, so this kind of implies Satan will know ahead of time when all this needs to happen and when things need to be set in motion, (unless he has an antichrist ‘ready to go’ in every generation), but that seems unlikely.
Actually the bible gives a pretty detailed timeline on the AC and what he will do, so its kind of strange having all these details, they say a majority of people (maybe even the church) will not be able to recognize him for who he truly is…?I’m pretty sure Catholic tradition and the Catechism does identify the Antichrist as a real man who will exist at some point…but little is known beyond that.
A very good point.Actually the bible gives a pretty detailed timeline on the AC and what he will do, so its kind of strange having all these details, they say a majority of people (maybe even the church) will not be able to recognize him for who he truly is…?
Seems to me, if we see a person on the global scene, who fits all the descriptions and is following bible prophecy to a T…well, should be pretty easy to spot the AC, I mean, how many other people on the world scene have displayed supernatural powers…none that I can think of, so, its a good bet, the first person we see doing this, is more than likely the AC.
Plus, the age we live in, with instant internet and youtube videos, anyone performing supernatural acts will be all over the internet right away, so it would be tough to refute that, unless there will be lots of people with these abilities in those times.
