Will Christianity rise again?

Right now while things for Christianity seem uncertain, I do hope we don’t stay down under forever.

As I remember, Christianity has endured regimes like this before through many times

Book of Revelation has repeated itself over and over and over again, many AntiChrists with their cultish regimes have dominated parts of the world(I honestly think the Book of Revelation is more about the condition of human civilization)

Do you think that this globalist regime will eventually collapse inward on itself and the Church will rise again to civilize the world as it did with the collapse of Rome?

Seems to me there are more Christians in the world right now than ever before, both in gross numbers and as a percentage of the world population. Christianity is also the dominant religion in most of the world’s most powerful countries. I think Christianity is doing just fine.

While on paper there are many Christians but are they practicing? In Ireland so called Christians voted for abortion and gay marriage.

If your definition of “Christian” is “only Christians that agree with me on everything,” then there are probably very few Christians. But by any objective standard, there are more Christians than ever before, in more parts of the world, both in gross numbers as as a percentage of population.

Christianity is growing, not declining, throughout the world. Not, of course, in the west.

But I presume you are talking about the collapse of the west, in both religion and culture. Is that right?

Yes, that what I am concerned about, make me wonder if we will ultimately have to take an exodus to the East as was the case of Constantinople

The other extreme that is equally bad is counting people that say they are Christians but act in a way that is extremely contradictory to the values of the Church.

Those with young children might have to wonder where to move.

Remember how the Catholic religion collapsed in England, with only a small number of people willing to lose their lives, and most Catholics hoping for the best, but doing nothing. How many of those who did nothing lived to see their grandchildren lost to faith?

So, any suggestions about where to go?

We cannot blame Rome for what we did in Ireland. The church here effectively committed suicide, again and again and again. Then kept silent on the gay marriage and subsequent abortion referenda. Even now you hardly hear a peep out of them. Personally I’m looking forward to the new Archbishop of Dublin and pray that he is filled with the Holy Spirit as we desperately need leadership here.

🤷‍♂️ Who gets to decide that? I also don’t see any reason to think that the phenomena you describe is new or accelerating, so my point remains - Christianity is doing at least as well now was it ever has.

It’s not that hard, like those Catholics that don’t attend Mass don’t really show signs that they care.

I really would like to know: what country should a devout Catholic family flee to, if it is no longer possible to raise a child as a Catholic in America.

You mean using common sense, I’m not sure what else is left then.
No, I don’t see how “common sense” is helpful. Depending on the source you use, somewhere over 2 billion people identify as Christian. You are saying that many are not really Christian. I personally don’t have the power to make that discernment.

Regardless, it is certainly true that Christianity is the largest religion in the world, and is larger now than ever before, which is why it does not need to “rise again.” Its already on top.
