Will God ‘enticed’ (attracted, ‘allured’) people through wrong intentions?

For instance, a person who went to RCIA class because he wanted to date a girl was eventually baptized a Catholic. Or a man who wanted to be hero prayed for priestly Vocation eventually really discovered his real Vocation as a priest. Or a lady who prayed hard for religious Vocation turned out to be an affectionate mother of two lovely children. So on and so forth.

St.Mary of Egypt went on a pilgrimage to seduce more youth because of her insatiable sexual appetite. She had relations with I believe are all passengers on the ship regardless of their will. As she followed and attempted to enter the church a force did not allow her to. After many tries she realized it wasn’t her womanly weakness but her sin prevented her from entering. She repented and from there on lead a life of holiness.

God does not put in the bad aspect, He uses it for good. So, for the man who wanted to be a hero, he thought too much about how he wanted others to think of him, but God used that to help him find his rightful path. God can turn everything to good!

God can turn evil to good ends, but He does not cause it or will it directly. 🙂

That is interesting, I wonder how many times this has happened in other occasions, I wonder what kind of force could literally prevent someone from entering the church, that would be neat to research and run tests on.

I do not know. It is just one woman’s account of her experience.
