We all know Jesus said “ask what you want in my name…where two or more are I am there in the midst…” I am going to start praying with my wife about my unemployment issues and our relationship. I am wondering since we are praying together as husband and wife if God will not honor it more than if we pray apart.

I carry our Christmas tree for 1/2 mile and then my wife can carry it for 1/2 mile or we can carry it together for the whole mile.

Second one.

That’s great! Praying together, especially the Rosary, will definitely help. Also I personally pray the prayer to St. Mike after my Hail Holy Queen

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the malice and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls. Amen.

:blessyou:

Praying together of course is better but sending up prayers all through the day, whether you are together or not is great too. As a wife that’s had a husband unemployed many times over our 25 yrs together, I would also recommend praying something like this too… Thank you Lord for your kindness and compassion toward sinners! We look forward to what you have in store for us and we can’t wait to see your hand work in our favor! May we have a wonderful testimony of your love and kindness toward us sinners so that we may encourage and strengthen others when they have their turn. For your glory, we thank you today! We don’t put our trust in kings or princes, but we have our eyes set on you, mighty God, King of glory!

I feel as though thanks and praise with a petition is a wonderful way to pray.

May you indeed have a wonderful testimony to the goodness of God in your life, today and over the years.
