Do your thoughts come out of nowhere? Like, you feel like you can’t control these thoughts?

If you are sorry, and ask for forgiveness you will receive it. If are these intrusive thoughts that you don’t intend? You don’t need forgiveness but a mental health professional can help.

How old are you?

First of all, all sins can be forgiven.
Are you having doubts about God, there are books on apologetics you can read to know more.

If these thoughts are compulsive and intrusive, there may be a component of anxiety going on.

Deep breath and relax

I’m 17 about to be 18 but will god forgive me if I think theses nasty thoughts on purpose:( I’m just so sad and I’m scared if god will never forgive me😔

Well, let me tell you something. I’m not telling you, you have this okay, but this is very similar to what happens to me. I have pure-O OCD, and I have intrusive thoughts 24/7! These are horrible thoughts, images, that sometimes involve Our Lord, Our Lady, the Saints. Before I knew what I had was a mental issue, the thoughts made me feel anxious, scared, and guilty because I did not want them, I did not like them, but they would come and I would not be able to get rid off them. Is this king of what you’re going through?

God will forgive any sin you repent from.

How come you’re having nasty thoughts about God on purpose?

I’m sensing a lot of pain behind your posts. You maybe have a lot going on that you’re dealing with?

I am praying for you

Scarlet, bless your heart! You actually made me laugh 🙂 (deep breath and relax)

Brianna, of course, you are forgiven, as long as you love Him, repent from your sins (I don’t think this particular one was even a sin, but then again not my position to declare it) and obey God. If you’re not sure whether they were deliberate and intentional thoughts, then clearly they were not. But still, confess it in your next Reconciliation so that you are free even from the doubt of it.

So I think I have ocd but my mind tells me it’s not ocd!! I just cry and then become happy it weird! I hate myself for thinking of these thoughts!!

Well, the fact that you’re not enjoying them means that you’re intrusive =) Don’t worry! Look, my advice would be to go the doctor and see what it is. The first thing you have to know is that the fact that you don’t like them, means that it’s probably not your fault 100%. When you go to confession tell the priest that you have intrusive thoughts about Our Lord and want to confess any part you may have had in accepting those thoughts. Don’t worry about them. If they are intrusive thoughts, the more attention you pay to them the stronger they become. Tell Our Lord you don’t want them and then ignore them as best as you can. If it does turn out that you get diagnosed with OCD, know that the thoughts don’t ever fully go away. They just kind of stick. What you have to do is just try your best at seeing them like flies. Just ignore them as best as you can , and don’t give them importance. OCD can make you doubt even your purest intention, so try and go to the doctor whenever you can so you can see if this is what is going on. =) Good luck! and Don’t worry!

so Let’s say a person was thinking a nasty thought about god on purpose will god rlly forgive them!? And, I hate these nasty thoughts about god and Jesus! I pray to god to help me but he dosent I fell like he hates because of these thoughts!

Really god will forgive me for this!? Is there sin that god will never forgive?

Yes! There is no sin that Our Lord can’t forgive! If you are truly sorry, he will always, always be more willing to forgive you than you are to be forgiven. He told Saint Faustina ( I recommend reading about her as much as you can!)

(9) The greater the sinner, the greater the right he has to My mercy. My mercy is confirmed in every work of My hands. He who trusts in My mercy will not perish, for all his affairs are Mine, and his enemies will be shattered at the base of My footstool. Diary 723

(10) [Let] the greatest sinners place their trust in My mercy. They have the right before others to trust in the abyss of My mercy. My daughter, write about My mercy towards tormented souls. Souls that make an appeal to My mercy delight Me. To such souls I grant even more graces than they ask. I cannot punish even the greatest sinner if he makes an appeal to My compassion, but on the contrary, I justify him in My unfathomable and inscrutable mercy. Diary 1146

Go to confession, and trust that if this is a mental illness, He is giving you a share in His passion and knows you are not doing it on purpose no matter what your brain tells you. If you were wanting these thoughts, they would not make you feel guilty. You would enjoy them. He will forgive everything if the person is truly sorry. He would forgive the devil if the devil would only want to be forgiven.

The only sin that God will not forgive is the sin of not asking for forgiveness. If you ask for forgiveness he will forgive whatever you have done.

You’re good!!!

If you are Catholic, go to confession, tell your confessor everything, and then LISTEN to his advice and try your hardest to repent.
Forgiveness is available to everyone. Just express true contrition, and resolve not to repeat the sin.
If you fail, go to confession and try again.
