Will God hold me to it?

Today I was joking around with a friend and we were talking about something… I dunno what, wal-mart or something like that and I said, “That made me decide I didn’t want kids”. I said it seriously but I really don’t mean that- I do want kids someday if its cool with God. The thing is, I’m worried God will get mad at me for saying something foolish like that and bind me to it… Should I be worried about this?

Perhaps it will help you feel better if you have a little chat with the Lord in your prayer time, and tell Him that you spoke hastily and didn’t really mean it. Your concern over what you said and saying you are sorry for it should take care of it and give you His peace.
 
Thank you… I pray that thus is all that is neccessary. I’ve prayed but I’ll pray more.
