If I’m addicted to a sinful habbit, will God still listen to me when I pray and tell him what I need?

God listens to those that come to him in love. Everyone has something they are ashamed of . God is here for our salvation. You can conquer your sinful habits by praying to Jesus, going to church…STAY AWAY from temptation…He will listen to you if you sincerely believe and trust in Him.

i smoke. iam addicted to it. i keep praying no matter what that i’ll find the strength to quit. i believe He does listen. We have to make a sincere effort to not repeat our habit. for smoking, this is excessively hard if your extremely addicted like iam. please, pray for me, a 13 year tobacco addict.

As a Recovering Alcoholic, I can vouch that He listens, provided we try to ammend our ways. I seriously doubt He would listen to us if we have no intentions of repenting.
