You try to blow both hot and cold from your mouth at the same time. If the natural sciences would “prove” God then why would God play “hard to get”? A personal manifestation would not add one iota to the already existing “proof”. Of course almost no one believes that the physical sciences “self-evidently” prove God. That is only your concoction.umm no, i never said he wasnt able to reveal himself to atheists. i said that he doesnt for his own reasons. second he did create “a way which is convincing to atheists”. if you would study physics and natural sciences the proof would be self evident.
Tony already put in his two cents, when he asserted that such a manifastation would “rob us” our freedom to believe or not to believe. Which is total bollocks. You say that “God has his unspecified reasons”. Which is also just BS.
Of course they do, just like they disqualify astrology, or aura-readings, or dowsing, or faith-healing, or any of the pseudo-cum-bogus-sciences. However, that does not prevent the believers of investigating, and if they could come up with actual evidence, their finding would be admitted (after rigorous examination). The road is open. There are also well-qualified scientists who are also devout believers, and guess what? They also look for natrual explanations. They could put their considerable talent to work, and look for a “supernatural” explanation. They don’t.so you admit that atheists automatically disqualify God as a possiblility.
Yes, the so-called explanation saying: “and unkowable being using unfathomable means somehow made it magically happen”. If you think that this is an explanation… well, I will just stay out of your way.“God” has a better explanatory power than the crack-pot hypotheses some of these atheistic physicists are trying to come up with.
Undocumented anecdotal “stories” like this carry no weight. If you say it is documented… where is that documentation?REALLY? well then consider this, heres an incident of a well documented miracle cure. a girl was born without pupils, so she lived her whole life blind, then when her parents brought her to st. Padre pio, he healed her so she was able to see for the first time. try to explain away that one. this girl was born WITHOUT PUPILS so its not like it was a blood clot causing her blindess. she was born that way. yet God (through padre pio) gave her vision. so it looks like your theory of a 'wrong diagnosis" is out the door. seriously, id like to hear any atheist try to explain away that miracle. and theres many other such incidents.
I also heard of leprechauns, fairies (especially the tooth-fairy), the Easter Rabbit, seven-headed, fire-breathing dragons and all sorts of assorted “beings”.and they do, ever heard of wicthes, psychics, and mediums? and its usually when these wicthes, psychics, and mediums try to turn away from their lifestyle that the demons turn against them.
I would like to match wits with them. I also would like to see their cute little horns and see if they can tap-dance with their hoofs. Do they also have a tail?demons are extremely intelligent, the dumbest demon is more intelligent than the smartest human by far.
Kreeft is an idiot.God does provide the necessary evidence of his existence, but you must be willing to look. peter kreeft says on his website “God is like a lover with a marriage proposal” he will not force anyone to believe in him, rather he waits for the individual to find him.
Closed-minded? I am asking God to show himself. That is as open-minded as it gets. Why the bashful hiding?but if that individual is closed minded well, what can God do?
