Will Mary rule the universe?

My formerly-Catholic sister-in-law says Catholics believe Mary will rule the universe through Christ. I had no response but would like to know if the Church has a position on this and where she might have heard this. I’m in a process of educating myself about my faith and want to be able to challenge her.

It sounds like your sister-in-law is misunderstanding the Catholic belief that Mary is queen of heaven and earth. The links below may be helpful.
