Will my abortion cause me to not be able to convert?

I had an abortion a few years ago and am now hoping to convert. I am so scared that this will cause problems and am so haunted by this and regretting having done it in the first place.

What is the process for converting for someone who has done what I’ve done? I have never been baptized under any faith.

How can I be forgiven of this sin?
