Will of God

my friend recently asked me, “If a sick person receives treatment for a disease, isn’t that going against God’s Will?” He asks me this because with the advancement of medical science, can we unknowingly be interfering with God’s Will. What if that person was supposed to die from this particular illness but medical science intervened?

God gave us our gifts of healing, whether through science or other means. He also gave us the ability to use these gifts for the good of others. After all, Jesus himself healed many.

Besides which, a significant number of people who become ill will die in spite of treatment that would save the vast majority of other people with their illness. God still has control over when we go.
