Will Sotomayor Judge Fairly?

Sotomayor has made several statements regarding her superior mind over those of the white justices with whom she will be working. She is also a member of La Raza, a group which looks out for a single race of people, and a group whose very name constitutes racism.

Is she giving us a fair window into her thought process for judging. Can she judge or will she judge all races fairly based on American law and not her feelings about her own race.

How would she address “sanctuary” laws passed by cities, counties, and states when they directly oppose federal laws and the soveriegnty of the United States to protect its borders.

So far, Her Honor has not demonstrated any particularly brilliant judicial thinking or decision making nor has she satisfactorily explained the “wise Latina” comment. I think we can expect more of the same if she sits on the highest court of the land.
