Will Sunday satisfy the First Saturday requirements?

My daughter and I say the rosary before Mass each Sunday, go to confession as often as necessary (at least once a month), but because I often usher and have other duties at church on Sundays that’s when we go, not on Saturdays. Can we still receive the promises for making First Saturday reparation?

Also, I know you need to do at least 15 minutes of meditation. I’ve been praying the rosary for years and have yet to learn to do this. Is it okay to do the meditation before I start the rosary? This is especially difficult when I lead the rosary at church.

Dear SFX,

The requirement is that one attend Mass on Saturday–not Sunday. Find a Church has has a morning Mass on Saturday if going to the vigil Mass is too long or inconvenient.

Mass on Sunday does not fulfill the requrement.
