protestant.xxx is ok with me too…
This has been discussed on another thread in the Moral Theology section, There, I noted that this will create nearly unlimited possible new URLs such as catholic.xxx, christian.xxx, jesus.xxx, eucharist.xxx, pope_benedict_xvi.xxx, et cetera, ad nauseam.

Even catholic_answers.xxx

Persons or organizations who object to the use of any of these designations would be put to the trouble and expense of registering these domains to get them off the market before some pornographer sets up shop under the name blessed_virgin_mary.xxx.

Thus is true. But people will not long onto them accidentally. Search engines could easily be configured to exclude any search results ending in .xxx.

There are quite a few times I’ve seen people looking for legitimate sites, such as whitehouse.gov, and inadvertantly type in whitehouse.com (.com is a habit for some). They accidentally visit a porn site instead of the intended site. the chances of someone typing whitehouse.xxx is very slim, unless they have made a habit of typing .xxx all the time.

Everything has its down side. I think the downside of this could be minimized since any site ending in .xxx could be ignored.
