Will the Muslim world shed tears for OBL if he died today?

You know, it’s just GREAT that so many do not believe 9/11 was anything other than what it really was ~ an action, this time successful, by Muslim extremists ~ but it is ALL TOO OBVIOUS from just this thread that some persons do not believe even the plain facts that are available to anyone. Some people CONTINUE TO DENY that Osama Bin Laden and his cohorts were involved in 9/11.

EVEN AFTER HE ADMITTED IT? This is on record! How can any sane person deny the facts? Obviously the persons who deny the facts are either

  1. *]unacquainted with the facts or
    *]are insane

At this point, no rational person can believe something else, but, obviously, on this thread at least, we have to make room for the irrational. Why is that? I have no idea. I feel sorry for those who feel the need to live in the world of insanity/irrationality.

ps, I’m sorry, but I find the “sighs” repugnant.

You sigh over the possible death of a known murderer? If so, you have a definite moral ABSENCE.

And that’s putting in very mildly.

Osama Bin Laden ordered the death of THOUSANDS of innocent people. Most of them DIED as a result of his order. Only the lucky few escaped.

I question why someone would SIGH at the POSSIBILITY that this object of EVIL INCARNATE might have died?

Maybe it’s just me, but if evil died, I think thats a good thing. And I would classify those who would regret the death of evil as evil themselves.

What kind of crazy person would want someone like OBL to live unless they were evil and murderous and glorified evil & murder?

Don’t we have more. . . ah. . . ecumenical muslims on CAF?

I was giving you- MW and Sister Amy the benefit of the doubt as you guys seemed level headed. Don’t you think that decrying OBL and the wacky terrorists might speak more highly of Islam. I know Islam is generally peaceful but you guys aren’t helping the case much with even hinting at defense of OBL. We need to hear muslims outraged at such individuals and their action which would seem to be antithetical to authentic Islam. This wishy washy beating around the bush knid of incenses people.

I am saying this as a rather cosmopolitan and open-minded guy.

Sorry to be simple here but. . . Osama Bin-Laden is a VERY BAD man.

(And 'm not getting this from FOX. I’m getting this from CNN, BBC- and nearly all reputable news agencies in the world.)

I mean COME ON ladies!

I suggest you watch Elders of Zion, a documentary video about the conspiracy theory of the 911 attack. Radical muslims are blaming the jews for the 911 attack. Without any hint of verifiable evidence they accused the jews of carrying out the 911 attack. Despite the overwhelming evidence gathered pointing to the radical muslims as the perpetrators, they (radical muslims) can not be swayed to think otherwise. They are completly brainwashed.
With all due respect, why do I need to watch anything about something I already know?

I trust that the apparent breakdown in the ability in critical thinking has not digressed down to your level? At least, not yet?

Or did you simply use me as a forum to plant your link?

If so, be a man, do it in a more straightforward way. Don’t hide behind me. In my experience, hiding behind women and children ~ something HAMAS does in the Palestinian areas of GAZA ~ is the mark of a coward. MANY are guilty of that. Do not join them.

it’s in the news today that obl maybe very sick. if he died today, do you think the muslim world will grieve and shed tears?
God bless.
For Muslims here in SA, I think so, his tribe is so big and wealthy and they know many people.

Personally, I will not shed tears on him, but I will be sad that he didn’t get the chance to know God’s Word.

… We need to hear muslims outraged at such individuals and their action…
Muslims don’t/did not support 9/11 tragedy. Many protests came from Muslims organistations but those were not heard on mainstream media much.

I don’t know how many Jews died in the tragedy but many Muslims died in that sad incident . Even if there are Muslims who don’t have sympathy for non-Muslims , because of the death of many Muslims , they are sad . Also , God forbids killing of innocent person in holy Quran . So , there is no justification of 9/11 incident.

I just want to say that I have doubt if Laden or other Muslims are behind it as Muslims did not make any profit from it but became victims.

I had 37 friends who where in the Towers that day - and all perished. :bighanky: I will never forget that day!

Being in New York, our neighborhoods and families were affected with dear friends and neighbors who all worked there.

bin Laden is an islamic muslim and so are his followers. 19 muslim men got hold of the planes and drove them into the towers.

And since you have doubts about if OBL was involed, here is the video tapes he recorded taking full credit all in the name of Allah.

very sorry to know that. Killing innocent people is a major sin in Islam ( most probably it’s the second or 3rd major one ) . Muslims don’t support this kind of killing.

Joen : Do Muslims Kill Their Opponents?

Ans. …The Qur’an says about the prohibition of murder, “…Take not life, which Allah hath made sacred, except by way of justice and law: thus does He command you, that ye may learn wisdom.” (Al-An`am: 151)

“Nor take life, which Allah has made sacred, except for just cause. And if anyone is slain wrongfully, We have given his heir authority (to demand Qisas or to forgive): but let him not exceed bounds in the matter of taking life; for he is helped (by the law)” (Al-Isra’: 33)

According to the Qur’an, killing any person without a just cause is as big a sin as killing the whole humanity and saving the life of one person is as good deed as saving the whole humanity. (See Al-Ma’idah: 32)

Muslims do not hate – let alone kill - non-Muslims, be they Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhist or followers of any religion or no religion…it’ll be beneficial to read Do Muslims Hate non-Muslims?

Allah Almighty knows best.

I have 2 questions with regard to this post. (Sorry if they’re off topic - I’m just curious about the answers.)🙂
very sorry to know that. Killing innocent people is a major sin in Islam ( most probably it’s the **second or 3rd major one **) . Muslims don’t support this kind of killing.
What is the 1st major sin in Islam?
According to the Qur’an, killing any person **without a just cause **is as big a sin as killing the whole humanity and saving the life of one person is as good deed as saving the whole humanity. (See Al-Ma’idah: 32)
Who determines what the just cause is? What if the suicide/homicide bombers are claiming that the people they are killing oppose Islam and the establishment of shariah law? Is that a just cause? What if they believe they are killing kaffirs for Allah? Is that a just cause?
(The examples I’m thinking of are the killing of various Afghan/Iraqi civilians by other Muslims who viewed the victims as being sympathetic to the U.S… Or the killing of Iraqi police/security forces - what is the justification for that?)

Thank you.
(Please note that these are genuine questions and not meant to be inflammatory.)

I don’t think so . He could enjoy a luxurious life if he wanted . Instead he decided to fight against injustice. Many ( including me) don’t believe that Laden or Muslims are responsible for 9/11 .

It’s impossible to carry attacks on US from caves of Afghanistan. If Muslims really have that power , why they are so oppressed now ? If really they are capable of doing so , why kill innocent people instead of killing those who are oppressing Muslims ? Muslims did not profit from 9/11 , instead they became the victims. US now can attack any Muslim majority country by claming that they have realtionship with Laden.

God asks in Quran : And why should you not fight in the cause of God and of those who, being weak, are ill-treated (and oppressed)? Men, women, and children, whose cry is: ‘Our Lord! Rescue us from this town, whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from Yourside one who will protect; and raise for us from Yourside one who will help!’) (An-Nisaa’ 4:75).

Many if not most Muslims don’t have courage to protest against the injustice , they are fond of this earthy life . Very few Muslims have courage to raise voice . If Laden is really responsible for 9/11 , I hope he will offer his sincere repentance before death approaches & God will forgive him .

I will offer 2 rakat ( minimum) nafal Salat ( extra prayer ) for him ; so that God forgives his sins .
You gotta be kidding me…🤷 Is this how you fight against injustice? Injustice toward whom? Innocent Americans?
Please…these people have nothing else better to do than to constantly cause trouble. Get a job…

They can’t. The Americans and Israelis took all their jobs. You know…all those darn Americans and Israelis who were in Afghanistan prior to 9/11, causing the Afghanis to fight and be oppressed… 😛

I can safely say tht if OBL died today, there would be great celebrations all over the world. I would celebrate too.:dancing: :extrahappy:

I maybe wrong but I think she was sighing because she forgot what she was going to say. And may I suggest you read the whole post (post #19) before triggering a reply like this. Thanks.

With all due respect, why do I need to watch anything about something I already know?
Coz maybe you asked if this is a jewish plot. And I merely backed you up and suggested to watch that documentary film.

I trust that the apparent breakdown in the ability in critical thinking has not digressed down to your level? At least, not yet?
Well maybe I am not as smart as you are, but I find this remark condenscending, but then again maybe your are right.😦

Or did you simply use me as a forum to plant your link?
Again I simply suggested to you and the readers of your post to watch that documentary film.

If so, be a man, do it in a more straightforward way. Don’t hide behind me. In my experience, hiding behind women and children ~ something HAMAS does in the Palestinian areas of GAZA ~ is the mark of a coward. MANY are guilty of that. Do not join them.
I think you need to read my post again, post # 18. I may have not made my point crystal clear to you. You don’t even know how many life and death situations I have been before and suggesting that I am a coward because of one post sounds very condenscending. Don’t jump into conclusion by just reading one post.

The amazing thing to me through all of the post-9/11 stuff is the fact that 100% of those who hijacked the planes were Muslim males with ties to Al Quida. Say what you want about terrorist acts being allowed in Islam (and I do accept that innocents are not to be killed like that per Islam), some people do not give a flying fig about it.

Muslim Woman, try to find out the percentage of plains that have been hijacked since 1950 by Muslim Males.

Exactly my sentiments.😦

Come on people, what is it that you feel this soft spot for this madman? I hope he dies a slow torturous death and goes straight to hell. I don’t care I hate this man and I ask God to forgive me for saying that but I do. I feel nothing for him.

How is it a “soft spot” to wish that Osama Bin Laden could hear the true word of God? I wish that for all men. Furthermore, I don’t think you or I could imagine a more (nearly) universally reviled man than Osama, so perhaps it is a true test of conviction to say that as he is the least of my brothers (in humanity, not in any sort of shared ideology or faith!), I don’t wish for him to be killed in the worst way possible. I wish for him to renounce his ways, certainly, but I also recognize that OBL is one in a long line of terrorist fanatics, and that there is always another who will come along to plant hatred for Christians and other non-Muslims in the minds of impressionable Muslim youth. If I had my choice, I would much rather Jesus’ message of “whatsoever you do unto the least of my brothers, that you do unto me” reach them than OBL’s message of hate and death for all non-Muslims.

In terms of his actual death, it is an eventuality, and as always when some horrible, squandered person dies, I will mourn the great loss of potential that he was, that he has earned himself eternal hellfire for evil actions of which he was not repentant (assuming of course that he wasn’t; we can’t really know), and that in addition to squandering his individual life and unique potential, he also used his vast wealth and connections to the detriment of humanity, while claiming all the time to be representing a great virtue. As a liar, a murderer, a fanatic, and an anti-Christ, he will not be missed by me. As someone who had opportunities that very few in his part of the world ever have, but used them in pursuit of evil ends, he is a tragedy, a failure, and a cancer upon humanity.

I don’t mean to cause to have a stroke, OneTrueCathApos, but I kinda feel like the above is just a natural outgrow of believing in the true God of justice and mercy more than OBL’s god of hatred, division, and cruelty. If/when Bin Laden goes to hell, he will have earned it himself. While he is still alive, I don’t see any reason to NOT pray that he comes to change his ways, while there is still time. That’s as much my Christian duty as it is that I maintain absolute and strenuous oppositions to all anti-Christs such as him and the rest of the Islamic terrorists throughout the world.
