I have a few questions on how the RCIA will work with my situation.
I’m going to be starting my classes this week to receive all sacraments including marriage, I’m currently living with my fiancé and we have a 4 year old child together. Will there be any problems with getting me baptized if we plan on marrying through the church immediately?

No one here can answer your questions. I encourage you and your fiancé to make an appointment with your pastor. You will need to go through marriage prep and talk to your pastor about your situation. The timing of all your sacraments will be under his guidance once he knows all the facts of your situation.

I agree with Ike. Typically, one cannot receive Sacraments until they have prepared for them. If you are living with your fiance, the priest may advise you to stop living together until you are married.

It’s possible but given that they have a child I think it more likely that he’ll ask them to stop fornicating.

Your pastor is the best person to answer this question. Maybe your pastor will allow it, maybe not, but he’s the only one who can make that call.

No…you do not separate parents who have a kid together. That is not appropriate.

I was pregnant and living with my fiancé when we started RCIA. My fiancé told our parish priests and deacon in charge of RCIA that he was not kicking me out in the name of church teaching. They said they would never expect that of us.
We went through RCIA, marriage prep, had the baby, were both received in the church and then married…in that order.

They are encouraged to remain chaste until their wedding night. The church would never recommend a couple who are trying to convert to Catholicism, are married with kids…why should they separate an unmarried couple with kids. Neither are validly married within the church.
