Will we recognize our loved ones in heaven?

A Catholic priest told me that I would not recognize my dead husband when I get to heaven and he would not know me. Can this be true? I realize we would not have the same kind of relationship in heaven that we had on earth but surely we would recognize each other and remember that we had spent a loving lifetime together. Please help me understand. Please answer.
