Will You Be Confirmed by Easter Vigil?

What are you doing to spiritually prepare for confirmation?

When I went through the RCIA program in 1991 I became a Catholic at Easter 1992 but Confirmation was not done until October 1992. Nobody I know who became a Catholic at Easter (whether by baptism or formal acceptance into the Church if already validly baptised) was confirmed at the same time. Confirmation was always months later and never at Easter.

Hmm. That might have changed. I think it’s all done at Easter Vigil these days? But I could be wrong.
 
No but I would love to be. After I get confirmed in my parent’s Lutheran church I will start RCIA, assuming I can drive by then.
 
I will be receiving all of the sacraments of initiation at the Easter vigil. After having been in RCIA for almost three years, I am excited beyond most peoples’ understanding.

Having said that, I am grateful,first, to our Lord, Jesus Christ, for suffering on the cross and, then, to the people who have been supporting me during my time of discernment and conversion. Anybody reading this is, probably, in that category – whether we have ever met or not. God bless you. Your prayers have helped ease my journey, and I hope I can do the same for you in yours.
