Will you still pray for my husband re: advanced prostate cancer

I thank everyone who prayed for my husband, Rodney, last summer as we dealt with prostate cancer and surgery. In December I posted a prayer request regarding our troubled marriage. I really want to ask everyone to please once again pray for Rodney because we just found out that the surgery did not remove all the cancer and that he now has to undergo hormone therapy and radiation. I feel funny asking everyone to pray for him after I posted a prayer request about our troubled marriage, but all things are possible with God. So will you kind and gentle people once more pray for Rodney? Please ask God to cure Rodney from all cancer and to bless him with a long, healthy, happy life on this earth and that he be given the grace of continual conversion and salvation. Please pray no harm comes to him from the treatments. Thank you so much for your prayers, patience and understanding!

O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty”, the “The Wonder Worker” because of the numerous miracles which you obtained from God for those who have turned to you in their need. For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being.

Praying for your husband.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
 
Oh Therese, you don’t have to feel funny about asking for prayers from us whether it be for your marriage or for Rodney. You obviously love him so much. I never stopped praying for him, but thought his cancer was taken care of. Oh well, I will just have to pray for that particular intention again. I will also keep your marriage in my prayers as well. I love having a persons names to pray for, for it makes it more personal. I am sorry you both have to go through this again, but please don’t forget that the Lord has it all under control and everything happens for a reason. We don’t know his plans for your future.

I will certainly pray for you as i pray for everyone on this forum.There has been a fair amount of cancer in my family on both the paternal and maternal side.I have offered my body to research but it won’t be accepted if i get cancer or require surgery shortly before death.So,i would be grateful for your prayers.
 
Praying for your husband…I’m sorry you and he are going through this…but, with God, He can take our sorrows and turn them for our good. I pray for your husband’s healing.
