Has anyone ever heard of this guy? He was an atheist with the highest recorded IQ ever- 250-300 and considered possibly the smartest man to ever live. Yet, I’ve never even heard of the guy. Ring any bells?’

He does ring a bell. He was a remarkable child prodigy who could read the New York Times at 18 months’ age, and by the time he was eight had mastered eight languages all by himself, and even invented his own language known as “Vendergood”. However, the claimed IQ of 250-300 is based on psychometrical estimates, not on an actual IQ exam.
