Dear CAF Family,
A lovely lady I volunteer with is in a battle with two problems: Head injury with bleeding in brain and possible uterine cancer. She fell the other day and apparently has had some bleeding into brain, is to have another CT scan tomorrow. She is alert and functioning but is not allowed to drive. Will be seeing oncologist soon. Please pray for her. Thank you in advance.

O glorious Saint Camillus,
special patron of the sick,
thou who for forty years,
with truly heroic charity didst devote thyself
to the relief of their temporal and spiritual necessities,
be pleased to assist them now even more generously,
since thou art blessed in heaven
and they have been committed by Holy Church
to thy powerful protection.

Obtain for them from Almighty God
the healing of all their maladies,
or at least, the spirit of Christian patience
and resignation that may sanctify them
and comfort them in the hour of their passing to eternity;
at the same time obtain for us the precious grace
of living and dying after thine example
in the practice of Divine love.
Amen

St. John of God, Patron of the sick and compassionate, Father of all those who suffer or are in any distress, I confidently turn to you in her time of need. I pray you to intercede for her with Jesus whom you followed so faithfully in His healing apostolate.

Knowing only Jesus can provide the true answer to our call for help and confide in His promise
that if I but ask, it be given to us, I now invoke your intercession in pleading for her.

All glory be to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Amen.

St. John of God, pray for her (and all those similiarly afflicted)

R. In the shadow of Thy Wings, protect us.

Lord we plead mercy for this poor woman and everyone who suffers similar ailments. That they, through you, may make a full recovery from their injuries. Amen.

Lord, please heal Wilma’s brain and stop it from bleeding. Also, if she does have uterine cancer, please keep the cancer from spreading and help the doctors successfully treat it and rid it completely from her body. I pray she doesn’t even have cancer, though, Lord, but if she does, and it is your will, please heal her and make her even stronger in faith through the suffering of cancer. Bless Wilma with a strong faith, a deep hope and a strengthening love to keep her joy filled and trusting in you. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer. Amen.

Loving God,

We thank you for your many blessings in our lives, and today we especially thank you for the loving kindness expressed by people who pray for us in our times of need. We lift up our prayers for Wilma who is facing two challenges at this time and we ask for the healing power of your son Jesus to be with her to help with her head injury and possible cancer, in accordance with your Holy and perfect will. Please grant dear Wilma strong faith, courage, and hope in this time. Please send competent and compassionate medical staff and doctors to care for Wilma. Please also relieve her family and friends from anxiety and help them to be a source of comfort, support, and positive energy to her in this challenging and uncertain time.

Remember, O most loving Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession was left unaided.
