Pasteurization is done by a heat or cold method. You guys are talking about the same thing.
Naw. You can keep grape juice frozen, thaw it, and it will ferment. That is not true of pasteurized grape juice…

OK, as the Recovered Alcoholic who had that white grape juice last Vigil of Pentecost, I have a question.

Pasturized or not, that white grape juice was sitting in its bottle for well over an hour. Can pasturized grape juice left out turn into wine eventually? If so, maybe just ONE yeast cell got into that grape juice, produced ONE molocule of ethyl alcohol. Would THAT be good enough:confused:

The very use of grape juice is prohibited by the Church. It is the Church that says invalid matter may not be used to confect the Eucharist. You really can’t get past that…
