I cannot stand the taste or smell of any achohol at all. Even a tiny bit or a strong odor can make me quesy. (yes, believe it or not, I am 20 years old and do not touch achohol) Therefore, at Mass even though it is usually offered I haven’t recieved the precious blood in quite a while.
Is this wrong of me?
Should I just make the sacrifice of my own discomfort and drink from the cup?

Though we are encouraged to do so, catholics are not obligated to receive from the cup. So it is not wrong of you to receive only the consecrated host.

you receive Jesus Christ, body, blood soul and divinity, entire, in either the host or the precious blood, so don’t give it another thought, receive the host and thank God that at this time and place we still have the privilege.
