Of course I need to be more humble. There is a trend I keep noticing in my relationships I am often scapegoated and given the blame. I need to be wiser. Even with the last roommate I complained about. Whenever she did or said something wrong. I would bite my tongue. It turned around and bit me in the butt because she had no problem reminding me of my shortcomings as a friend and roommate. Since I never told her anything probably in her mind she doesn’t do anything wrong. When i did tell her it was not in a timely manner anyways. Forget about her. Even with boyfriends I am the one who is always wrong. Yes there is probably a lot I need to fix. I am not Satan. Logically everything cannot be my fault. I thought it was best to ignore offenses. I do not want to get in disagreements. I do not think I should just not stand up for myself or admit wrongs I never did to pacify situations. Are arguments the greatest wrong? I was raised to think so. Peace can be the greatest good but it shouldn’t be at my expense. Uess I am really that terrible of a human being which I honestly don’t think so. Perhaps I am. Why am I always apologizing to people? Apologizing means I am wrong.

How about therapy?
All your threads are about how mean people are to you.
Why do you think that is? Do you really believe this? Do you think you can change your own outlook and possibly change how people view you?
I’m not asking for you to answer here, but these are things to bring up with a person trained to help you explore these and the other many questions you have. CAF is a good resource, but we’re not therapists, and frankly, we don’t even really know you. We just know from your writings that you seem obsessed with various things. Call the Chancery in your Diocese. They refer family therapists that charge you little or nothing. Getting help is not as hard as people think. Also, your pastor may have resources.
Good luck!

I second this. 👍

An Internet forum is not the ideal space for working out one’s own interpersonal problems and issues with self-image, especially if they are long-standing and pervasive.

A therapist, especially a Catholic therapist, may be able to help the OP a lot more than just his posting threads on similar topics and hoping that we can help him. 🙂

I can identify w/ what you experienced in the form
of roomates and apartment mates, it all boils down
to** Communication**, if there is no love in the
relationship, communication breaks down and
troubles, like weeds, starts popping up at intervals
more and more until your relationships w/ your
roommate is** ruined**!!
The solution is to ADMIT that you have flopped in
the way of love your neighbor and accept the
judgment of God in the way of a flawed relationship,
and try to humbly weed out the put-downs
and hatred!!
