Well, you can pretty much guess what this is about. šŸ˜ƒ Iā€™m getting my four impacted wisdom teeth out on Friday, and the fear is mounting. Iā€™ve never gone through surgery before, nor have I had much done on my teeth except the usual check-ups. Lastly, Iā€™m worried that something will go wrong, and Iā€™ll end up making it cost more than it should.

Praying for you. I had mine out in mid-life (late 40s) and all went well. I pray it will go well for you too, and for your peace of mind.
 
You are young, so the outlook is pretty good. I am praying for your comfort, healing, and peace.

Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. praying for your dental procedure this Friday and that all goes well and a good recovery. I had my impacted wisdom teeth removed when I was 17 in 1969. back then you had to be admitted to the hospital!
it sounds like things have improved since then.
 
Getting them out doesnā€™t usually hurt if done normally.

But after theyā€™re out theyā€™ll tell you to gargle salt water. Usually. Well I never much liked that so I found using pickle juice was way better.

But then I like drinking pickle juice. So YMMV. šŸ¤·

I had mine out in my teens and my husband did a couple years ago. It was hard the first couple days but after that much better! Will be praying for you.

in my 64 years I think you are the first person I have ever known who said they like drinking pickle juice! I love pickles, mind you, but I donā€™t think I have ever contemplated drinking the juice! lol maybe there are health benefits for all I know.

lol well I learned it as a home remedy because itā€™s got a lot of garlic and salt so it really works like crazy if you get the start of a sore throat. Kills bacteria on contact šŸ‘

Youā€™ll look like the Elephant Man for a couple of days and feel awful.
After that, no worries. No worries while itā€™s happening either. But donā€™t be ashamed or too brave not to take the pain meds. Nap a lot.

Some runners swear by it for cramps, but I think itā€™s icky.

Precious and Loving Lord, we lift ā€œHawkmaidā€ to Your presence and ask that You embrace her (?) with a" peace that passes understand" as scripture refers to it. Bless those doing the surgery and enable it to go smoothly. I pray also for the healing process afterwards to go well and that she will have good people to care for her afterwards. Thank you for hearing our prayers!
