With humility, I ask everyone for prayers

Hi

I saw 2 chiropractors today.

Both could not help me. Both said to go to a teaching hospital in a big city to see a neurosurgeon.

Both said I need surgery.

I cannot tell you how many doctors i have seen.

After all this prayer I now am starting to doubt both God’s love for me and even His existence

And yet I feel so guilty feeling so

For years i taught handicapped children

and now i have become handicapped

but i do not want to be

becoming permanently disabled + physicaly and mentally __in thespan of a few months makes me wonder if i am being punished

anyway tomorrow i am supposed to go to philly to neurosurgeon and the er then maybe a psychological hospital

i just do not know what to do any more

please pray for me for tonight?morning decision __ good night sleep

Vito, I’ve a relative who is Australia’s first and only beatified saint, Blessed Mary MacKillop. I ask her to intercede for you

Blessed Mary of the Cross, in your many charitable endeavours you endured poverty, calumny, unreasonable opposition, and misunderstanding of your motives by some in your community and in ecclesiastic office.

You endured lifelong medical difficulties, culminating in strokes. None of these trials, although they caused you sorrow, prevented you from charitable works and numerous kindnesses to everyone around you, even to those who opposed you.

Mary, you witnessed that ordinary human sufferings and difficulties are experienced by the saintly amongst us. Let your experience inspire you to pray for our country and family to be truly Christian. Mary, pray that we bear our crosses as you did.

Blessed Mary, you received this affectionate prophecy from your brother Donald not long before your death: “Oh when Heaven will come, dear Mary, what a reward may be yours! And this is little, how for all eternity you may be able to pay back with His choice gifts the love that has been showered, in crosses be it, upon you in time. I have never wished to see you without the cross—and you will never be without it—no, not in eternity, but then it will be your joy and your crown, the constant reminder of all you were to your King and spouse, the Master of all the hosts of Heaven.”

Dear Lord, please guide VitoJoseph to the very best possible doctor(s) for his particular case, those who will have the most wisdom and skill to help him.

Please comfort him with Your loving care during this stressful time, and be with him through his trials.

Lord Jesus,
Help him equate his suffering with the suffering you endured on the cross!
Whatever lies ahead for him, please give him the strength to persevere in faith, hope, and love. Help him offer up anything he must go through to add to the suffering you did on the cross. Just as you felt forsaken by Your Father Lord, help him to see it is natural to feel this way, but to persevere nonetheless.
Holy Spirt, please give him the fortitude to continue in Christ!

Loving Father, look upon Vito with mercy and love and heal his body, mind and soul. Dear Father, you promised that we would never be given more than we can handle. Strengthen Vito so that he continue the battle while giving thanks and praise to you, especially for the gift of life. Almighty Father, help Vito to pray as Jesus did, asking You to relieve his suffering but accepting the suffering if it be your will. Grant Vito humility that he may learn to accept your will and view this trial as a great opportunity to come closer to You; to share in the suffering of Your Son, Jesus Christ.

Dear Lord, we here on this forum pray to you for our brother Vito.

We ASK for a complete healing.

We SEEK your mercy and grace of PEACE for Vito.

We KNOCK for the door to be opened and have FAITH that the right specialists be available to help diagnose and treat our brothers ailments.

So many beautiful prayers to Our Lord. VitoJoseph, even though we have never met, my heart goes out to you. I pray for you as I would pray for my parents, my spouse, or my child. May the Lord bless you and keep you, may His light shine upon you. May you feel the comfort and joy that comes from knowing that many strangers, through the work of the Holy Spirit, have been moved in pity by your story and pray fervently for you and your recovery. You may not feel that God has answered you, but I see that countless friends have joined with you in your suffering and hope and pray that you will find cause to rejoice even in your sorrow. We love you, brother, is what I am trying to say, and that in itself is a mighty strong prayer.
