Hello! I am without any will to pray, I do not know why I am feeling so. How to “heal” this problem?
Okay. Thank you!I don’t want to sound trite or dismissive, but my answer is to pray.
I’ve experienced the same problem before. It recurs from time to time. I find that the best way to recover my will to pray is to force myself to pray. If you can get some time in a quiet church or chapel, before the tabernacle, I find that the most beneficial. I know it can be difficult to find an empty chapel, but we have several Catholic hospitals in my city, and the chapels there are usually empty.
Sounds to me that you actually DO have the will to pray, but don’t feel like it.Hello! I am without any will to pray, I do not know why I am feeling so. How to “heal” this problem?
Try a different method of prayer, keeping in mind that it is about raising our hearts and minds to God.Hello! I am without any will to pray, I do not know why I am feeling so. How to “heal” this problem?
Yes! To pray without feelings helps us to become spiritually stronger. God hears us!Sounds to me that you actually DO have the will to pray, but don’t feel like it.
Since our emotions come and go, I’d say go ahead and pray anyway.
