It is best to be fever-free for 24 hours before you resume normal activities. That gives YOU a chance to recover and keeps OTHERS from catching whatever it is that brought on your fever.Hi all, I had a fever over 100 last night and woke up with it being almost 102 this morning. I decided to stay home from Mass as the Bishop has asked us to do so if we are sick and one of the priests I spoke with said the obligation does not bind if you are sick.
However I took some ibuprofen this mornign when I was planning on going and now my fever is down. There is a 5pm Mass about 45 minutes away this evening, and I wonder if I should go to that if my fever is still down. I’ll probably see the priest who told me the obligation does not bind. I’m pretty scrupulous about all this so I’m not sure what to do if my fever is still down this evening.
That is my :twocents:.
