“Dress up” - yeah, that’s about right.
When I was 6, I would take a piece or two of our family’s oplatki, a brass chalice thing out of grandma’s china cabinet, a brass dish, throw a white sheet around my head, and pretend to be a priest doing mass. That didn’t make me one.
Just because Sir Francis Drake is a high 40-something-th cousin and we appear to be linked to Lord Calvert (though I don’t remember exactly how), does that make me English nobility? Pretty sure not.
Besides the whole not-eligible-to-be-ordained thing, I wonder if anyone told her she’s also already at the mandatory retirement age for priests?

Surely Theresa of Lisieux was fit to be a priest and mother Theresa and Blessed Mary Mother of God herself. Women are fit to be priests and Pope Francis needs to open the door.

And they both weren’t: tells you there is something else that matters, doesn’t it? Surely, the Blessed Mother of all would have been chosen, if Jesus wanted women to be priests. But He didn’t. Pope Francis has already said that it is not going to happen. “The door is closed” were his words.

Fooling around aside, I say she should be excommunicated. Anyone attempting this charade should be excommunicated. After all the Protestant churches would gladly have her as a priest.

None of these women, as beautifully holy as they were, were fit to be priests. What is very telling is the fact that they kew that fact, but you don’t.

The hand cannot do what the foot does, neither can the ear function as a nose. But you want a woman to function as a man or vice versa? A man cannot become pregnant any more than a woman can be ordained; thus these separated groups who participate in these “ordination” ceremonies are said to “attempt” ordination of women. It is an attempt because it is not possible to do, not because close minded men don’t allow it but because God and His Church say it cannot be so.

Not sure I get your point here but I underlined this portion, He made them different. Equality does not mean “sameness”; my wife and I are equal partners in our marriage and family, is she a father? Am I a mother? Absolutely not!

I think what we need is to realize our own opinions are in error when they differ from the teaching authority of the Church when She has infallibly spoken. Why open this door of rebellion again except to agitate?
