I am so naive…such a country bumpkin…I was envisioning chicken eggs by the dozen when I read this thread title…

I am absolutely saddened by this type of thing happening. The future for these children is going to be so complicated. The will have biological parents who never even met. They will have adopted parents of either single sex or opposite sex, but either way they have been sold and bought. They will need to have a potential spouse checked to make sure they are not too closely related. And they will have no real history.
They will be different than regular adoptions because the egg and sperm that made them will have been decided based on their size and function, not by nature’s means. They will be designer babies made from the genetics of people who wanted money more than they wanted to know their own children. The next generation will have an even bigger mess to clean up as the fallout of this exchange goes unchecked.
Sadly the people perpetrating these acts are some of the most educated people on earth and yet their ethics haven’t made them look to the future.

Okay, I am crazy also. I, too, thought that a woman was selling some type of bird eggs and I wondered how she would package them to get them to the buyers. I also thought…mmmm…I used to give my chicken eggs away for free…
I don’t understand how a person could not feel connected to their future biological children.

She hasn’t actually sold any eggs yet, just put the offer out.
But still, nothing I wouldn’t expect from the U.S.A and the U.K.
It makes me ill just thinking about it, but what can we do?
