Sweden vs. Netherlands
Should be a couple of great matchups!

Yes, they will be. Then hopefully US vs. Netherlands for the final… and US wins with goals from Rapinoe and Morgan. Would a result of 13:0 too much to hope for?? Hehehe!!!

I, too, am hoping for a 🇺🇸-:netherlands: final, but whoever wins that will have to give their all to do so.
 
I really think Sweden will beat the Netherlands. The dominated the Germans.
And it is not a given that Team USA will be the Brits.
But I say, U-S-A, U-S-A, U-S-A!

Well, it is impossible that both teams could be world champions. No, I am not against the Dutch, I am for the USA. (The age old question: “is the glass half empty, or half full?”)
 
First things first. USA needs to beat a good Great Britain ball club.
 
I don’t doubt that the US is capable of beating the Dutch. I doubt they can do so by a score of 13-0.

^This. England and Scotland each had a team in the WWC. Scotland and England were in the same group, in fact, but the Scots did not escape group play.

Alex Morgan miming a sip of tea in her goal celebration was cute. I was drinking an actual mug of Earl Grey tea at the time she scored.

I should be clear in that I only saw images after the fact, as I was listening to the radio broadcast on SiriusXM.

I think so, too. Though I did not think it was tea, it just looked like drinking something, maybe a shot of whisky.

Definitely. Sometimes it is sad that one side must lose… but that is how the cookie crumbles.
 
I goofed up in a post again. I meant to say England, but I said the Brits. Sorry, my bad again.
Both the USA and England played well. What a semi-final matchup it was.
Tremendous goals and one big save near the end.
This is what World Cup Soccer is supposed to be!

Sweden looked tough against Germany.
