I’m cheering for the Netherlands. They have improved with each match since the start of the tournament, and I think they’ll prevail in the end against Sweden. It will be a tough match, however, and I would not be surprised if it goes into extra time.

You were right. But the match could easily have gone the other way. Think of the scoring opportunities the Swedes missed out on.
Two different styles of play. The Dutch are quick and skilled at handling the ball. The Swedes are more physical in their way of play.
Statistics tell part of the story. The Swedes created more opportunities but came up short in front of the goal. In contrast, the Dutch had few openings but managed to wiggle through one. That’s all it took.
The way things were, whoever scored first was going to win. That just so happened to be the Netherlands. As you said, it could have gone the other way.
