Men should lay down their lives for women, children, and the elderly, it’s written on our hearts. I’m a man and I had put my life on the line protecting those who were physically weaker than me.

All I ask from women in return, is this: show some respect and don’t dress provocatively with everything hanging out. Especially in church. Please cover your shoulders and knees (as well as everything in-between), in the house of God.
LOL! I forgot that those evil women are the cause of everything wrong in this world. I’ll make sure and let my daughter’s sorority sister who is now a fighter pilot know that she needs to cover her arms and knees at Mass. Also, the next time you see a physician or attorney and they are female, remind them too…

They should either both be required to register or neither. I propose neither with the understanding the US government claims there will never again be a draft and the military is 100% voluntary.
I can fully understand why they say there will never again be a draft, the men who were drafted back when it was in effect were much different than the type of men we have today, I think alot of them would be a hindrance instead of being an asset in battle, unlike generations past.

It depends upon which men you are talking about. just because Bill Clinton and others avoided the draft doesn’t mean the men were of low caliber. The “selective” part and the physical 4F’d many men as they were unfit to serve. Even today judges and others will nudge the “at risk” youth towards the military and technically Forrest Gump was on the pass side of the line and was a hero.
