I have heard that there might of been women at the last supper as witnesses? I have never heard that before and I alwsys thought only the 12 Apostles were in the upper room. Any thoughts on this out there?
The two disciples who encountered Jesus on the road to Emmaus were not among the 12 apostles and they must have been at the Last Supper, otherwise how would they have recognized Jesus in the breaking of the bread? When they realize what happened, they rush back to tell the 11.John’s gospel clearly states that only the apostles were present at the last supper. recall that earlier that day Jesus ordered to apostles (men) to find the room and prepare everything for the Passover. that also lets out the notion that women must have been present as cooks, servers etc. clearly, the men did the preparation. (it was the custom at that time for the lambs to be roasted in central locations after the ritual slaughter and families to reclaim their own meat after cooking, so they did not necessarily cook the meat as well. also other prepared foods that are part of the feast could be purchased. either way, the apostles prepared, served and ate the meal)
Ya now that’s an authentic picture - I guess they all posed for that one - Lol - you would believe anything.Didn’t a painting of the Last Supper have one of the apostles with feminine features (John)? I heard someone arguing since this 500-year-old painting has a feminine looking person, there must have been a woman at the last supper. It is completely logical.
Take a look for yourself. This proves there was a woman there, the Church is clearly hiding something:

Actually it looks like there are two women present along with a bearded lady.
Someone who read the truthful da vinci code would be much more informed about this than me. (Sarcasm)
