Women -- do you prefer facial hair on men, or the clean shaven look?

Every guy I have ever dated has has facial hair - but my husband is clean shaven. Now that I’ve gone clean, I won’t ever go back!

He grew a goatee for an episode of The Catholic Critic (a show on RealCatholicTV.com) where he played himself (shaved) and also his alter ego (with the goatee) - it was pretty funny. It made me CRAZY that I could not kiss him seriously with all that pokey facial hair!!

Now I like it when he gets a bit scruffy, I love that look, but full blown facial hair is not my favorite.

It has to be long enough to be soft. Very short body hair feels like little pins.

If it’s a guy I’m attracted to, it dosn’t matter to me one way or another. But, if they are sporting some facial hair of any kind, I do like it to be nicely trimmed.

Facial hair. My husband has a neatly trimmed beard and it’s well… let’s just say it’s increased the marital desire. He’s let it get rugged and scruffy before too, and that’s very attractive to me. Maybe it’s me, but I like my man to look like he’s worked hard, and be all “manly”. So, scruffy or neatly trimmed; doesn’t matter. I like the hair and it stays!

The scruffy look is awesome on mine. If he goes too long between haircuts, his hair starts to curl and it’s so cute. Pair that with his beard …:blushing:

I prefer clean-cut - no facial hair, super short hair and a nice suit. Nothing hotter than a man in a suit!

*Here’a a question for you all…

My son is 16, he had a hair cut about 2 months ago, shorter, but still like a modern ‘shag.’ It looks great, but he’s going next week to get a trim for a wedding we’re heading to in two weeks. The question is, he keeps a little facial hair, like a trimmed beard and he’s wondering if he should completely go clean shaven for the wedding?

I kinda like the scruffy look, but my dh thinks he should be clean shaven, as he is.

Actually, I was thinking about some pictures I’ve seen lately of Donny Osmond with and without a beard and was thinking about just how cute he is with and without one about the time I found this thread. :hug1: But actually, my brother is pretty cute too with and without a beard. But he prefers to keep his most of the time.
