Women -- do you prefer facial hair on men, or the clean shaven look?

As quoted in this thread by one member, “My dad was very hairy-chested which I didn’t especially like. Dad shaved his underarms…he hated “bushy pits” and I think I would do that if I were a man, too.”

My Comment: I realize this is off topic, but I don’t think most men even think about shaving their armpits.

I think that’s a possible symptom of metrosexuality, which is grounds for annullment IMO. 😉

I worked with a guy that shaved his legs:eek: He didn’t like hair on his legs, so he kept them shaved…he was really odd, and not just for this. Really in knowing him for a few years…the leg shaving thing was one of the more normal things he did:whacky::hypno:

It’s funny you mention that pic. I used to have just a beard (no stach), but one day I was playing that game sorting through the facial hair options.

And I liked that same beard/stach combo, and now it’s on my face 🙂
 
I don’t mind short beards and moustaches on other men, if they are kept trimmed and clean, but NOT on my husband. I cannot stand the feel of a beard or moustache on my face. My son sometimes has both, and knows I don’t like the feel of it, so he will rub my face with his beard when he kisses me to annoy me. Husband knows better.😃
 
***My son has a short beard, and it looks really great on him…but the same look just wouldn’t look right on my dh. Just different face shapes, I suppose. 🤷 My son does not have a moustache though…

The results thus far:

First place, clean shaven…second, ‘who cares,’ closely following is facial hair.

I didn’t think clean shaven would be so far ahead. :hmmm: Interesting!***

If you go to my Facebook page, you’ll see a recent picture of me cleanshaven, one or two with a full goatee, and the rest as I am most of the time: mustache only. Easier to judge between them that way 🙂
 
If my husband shaved off his moustache and beard I fear I would be unable to kiss him. With very few instances he has had facial hair since I met him. The times he has shaved I felt like I was “cheating” on him with another fella. He just didn’t look like my DH.

I’m not fond of facial hair but I do not like super short hair cuts.
 
It really depends on the face! My ex-husband looked much better with than without because he head is kind of an inverted triangle shape. I’m not being snotty, even though he’s an ex. He’s still very thin – I think – and has a broad forehead with very very dark, intense eyebrows and lashes on light blue eyes. His face is rather long, but his chin is very small. He didn’t get the braces he needed as a kid, and his teeth protrude a bit. Adding a full mustache and beard balances his face, making it more of an oval shape than a triangle. He shaved just the mustache once, and looked like an Amish farmer. I told him to get rid of the beard until the mustache grew back because he just looked silly.

One of my sons is a big guy, not fat, but broad shoulders and tall. He looks great in a neat trimmed mustache and beard. He’s a chef and it suits his face, personality and wardrobe.

My other son is small, with blondish hair that is absurdly long. I think it would take several months before you’d even see a mustache on him.

I like looking at the guys in ZZ Top, but I wouldn’t care to be married to any of them. Something might be nesting in there!

Umm, yeah. Keep up that with that course and I predict many lonely nights for young man.

My son is 16, he had a hair cut about 2 months ago, shorter, but still like a modern ‘shag.’ It looks great, but he’s going next week to get a trim for a wedding we’re heading to in two weeks. The question is, he keeps a little facial hair, like a trimmed beard and he’s wondering if he should completely go clean shaven for the wedding?

I kinda like the scruffy look, but my dh thinks he should be clean shaven, as he is. 😛
