He came up behind me and started creepily petting my head.
While we’re talking about that, let’s go down an entirely new rabbit trail and discuss unsolicited hands on pregnant bellies . . . 🙃
And, unsolicited comments about them, also.

Even if you go to TLM there are quite a few women at Mass in modest pantsuits, or trousers and a blouse.
I would never have thought that based on the responses on CAF on some of the threads we’ve seen. I thought you would be barred from entering, or be given a house dress to wear in shame over your pants! 😉

It’s possible that some traditional churches have a dress code where women must wear a skirt or a dress. It’s also true that many women choose to wear a skirt or dress to a traditional Latin Mass. However, I have not run into any TLM church so far that requires women to wear skirts or dresses rather than pants, and I have been to a half dozen of them, in three states. They also don’t require women to cover their heads.

Or women forcing themselves to watch a mother breastfeeding even when the mother says she doesn’t want to be watched by them some women just bully them and stare at them. This was the reason my wife stopped breastfeeding, too many staring women, in our home!

Well, that’s because we live in a culture that has encouraged bottle feeding for so many decades, that when mothers feed their babies the healthier, more natural way, it seems strange to other women, even though it’s the perfectly natural thing to do, and much better for the baby. That is, provided the breast milk isn’t toxic.

Still, considerate people don’t bully or gawk, especially in someone’s own home.

We have become a society with very poor manners.

I have seen women who wear long skirts and mantillas getting leered at and grabbed at by men as they exit out of a church after attending traditional Latin mass.

I have also seen men do the same at school girls who wear the uniform of the local Catholic school.

I remember reading of an Orthodox Church in Russia which has a sign posted on the entrance stating “No dogs or women in trousers allowed.”

I hope if men are grabbing at minor school girls they are being reported to the police and prosecuted. I speak as one who was grabbed once by a perfectly strange man while walking to school with my friend, both of us in our Catholic schoolgirl uniform kilts, back in the 70s when we were about 11 or 12. The principal did make a police report about it.

Unfortunately, Catholic schoolgirl uniforms are a fetish for a lot of men.

Can’t say as I have ever seen anyone being harassed coming out of Latin Mass though.

I had the opposite experience.

I have seen adults laugh it off when these girls complained about being grabbed by grown men.

I wasn’t in the US when I had this experience but in Asia, Thailand to be specific.

This reminds me, I was in a city bus in Honolulu when a young girl, about 8 years old, in a Catholic school uniform was groped by a middle aged man. She screamed and a number of passengers surrounded the perpetrator and began beating the man with handbags and umbrellas. The bus driver stopped the bus and ejected the man.
