Women-led countries handled the coronavirus pandemic 'systematically and significantly better' than those run by men

The authors studied death and case tolls, whether leaders took decisive action to lock down, and whether “clear communication styles” were deployed. They concluded that women-led countries are measurably better off.

“Our findings show that COVID-outcomes are systematically and significantly better in countries led by women and, to some extent, this may be explained by the proactive policy responses they adopted,”

 
Australia is run by men and has its outbreak pretty much tamed again.

Maybe not conjecture or feelings but I put high value on ‘motherwit’ as an authority in strange and unpredictable times. Women leaders have responded in a very uniform way so much so that I’m impressed by the uniquely female confidence in protecting their citizens like a mother lioness.

No he hasnt. That major screw up was the responsibility of those charged with the task, he is just the fall guy because he is the leader.

The man is doing an amazing job during this time.

The ABC is a government owned media network bent towards the liberal party ( thats conservative in Australia) and who really has it in for the Catholic Church.

I’d like to see this analysis done comparing US States, male vs female govs.
 
I believe that the relative success of a nation’s response to Covid had a lot to do with to what degree they value their economy over the safety of the citizens.

You will read around here “you have to take a risk benefit look at this,”

When economy is placed about health you are going to see poor outcomes relative to a situation like that we are facing.
