Why oh Why do people want to claim to be Catholic yet refuse the teaching of the Church !!! !!!:confused::mad::banghead:

It just seems that anyone who has studied enough to become a priest should know that following the mother Church a prerequisite to being Catholic …otherwise , you are practicing something else entirely ! :rolleyes: Let us rise up in prayer brothers and sisters to combat the atrocities committed in the name of the Lord and in the name of His Church !! :gopray2::gopray2::gopray2: Thank you .

I hear you there is alot going on . … Let us still all pray in general and then specificaly as the Spirit leads us each and let us not grow weary in this race … Gods peace to you !
 
It is not possible. Pope John Paul II has told the faithful that the Church has no authority to ordain women.

thanks for the blessing Ed , but I think you may have missed the message of my post … the question was "why do people insist on being called Catholic who do not follow the teachings of the Church " and the link was what made me ask . Sorry for any confusion due to the naming of the thread , I am absolutely and completely in union with Rome on ALL her teachings .
 
They believe God gave they free will, including the free will to believe they are catholic. More of a delusion or act of selfishness in my mind.

Yeah , they have just as much free will as the rest of us . The do NOT have the right to change His Bride tho NO matter how they feel . sigh … it just riled my feathers the other day . pray pray pray … let us not grow weary in our prayers to save them from themselves and our Catholic faith from the scandal .
